LIMA, Ohio – In its final competition of the 2021 spring season on Sunday, the Defiance College men’s golf team was led by senior Hayden Clingaman during the third round of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship, which was hosted by Bluffton University. The three-day, 54-hole tournament took place at the par-72, 6,811-yard Hidden Creek Golf Club.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – At the LTU Battle at Bedford Valley on Saturday, the Defiance College men’s and women’s golf teams both showed improvement during the final round. The 36-hole, two-day event was hosted by Lawrence Technological University at the par-72 Bedford Valley Golf Course, which was laid out at 6,898 yards for the men and 5,987 for the women.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – On Friday, the Defiance College men’s and women’s golf teams finished the opening 18 holes of the LTU Battle at Bedford Valley in the only event this season the squads will be at together. Lawrence Technological University is hosting the two-day, 36-hole tournament at Bedford Valley Golf Course, which plays to a par of 72 and measures 6,898 yards for the men and 5,987 for the ladies.

Men’s golf improves by 20 shots on second day of Battle at Belterra

FLORENCE, Ind. – On Sunday in the final round of the Battle at Belterra, the Defiance College men’s golf team improved by 20 shots from Saturday with a 335 total. Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference member Franklin College hosted the two-day, 36-hole tournament at Belterra Golf Club, a course designed by Tom Fazio.

Men’s golf picked to finish eighth in 2021 HCAC preseason poll

CARMEL, Ind. – The Defiance College men’s golf team is picked to finish eighth among the nine Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference squads, according to the Spring 2021 HCAC Men’s Golf Preseason Poll. The poll was comprised in a vote of the conference’s head coaches and released by the HCAC office on Tuesday morning.

Men’s golf opens 2021 spring season at Music City Shootout

JOELTON, Tenn. – Despite heavy rain on Friday night, into the morning and more in the forecast, the Defiance College men’s golf team was able to open its 2021 spring season on Saturday at the Music City Shootout, hosted by Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference member Franklin College. The one-day, 18-hole tournament was held at the par-70 Nashville National Golf Links, which covers 6,217 yards, on the north side of Nashville.
