LEXINGTON, Ky. – Jace Neal opened the 2011 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Championships with an 82 on Saturday at the University Club of Kentucky’s Big Blue Course.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Freshman Mike Ross shot a second-round score of 76 on Sunday afternoon to help the Defiance College men’s golf team shave 13 shots of its score from Saturday.

HANOVER, Ind. – Defiance College backed up an opening round score of 315 on Saturday, with a 319 on Sunday’s final round of the Hanover Invitational to take fourth place in the nine-team competition.

CINCINNATI – Jace Neal finished in 12th place among 67 competitors to lead the Defiance College men’s golf squad to a sixth-place showing at the Mount St. Joseph Spring Invitational on Sunday.

N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – The 2010 fall season came to a successful close on Saturday for the Defiance College men’s golf team, as the Yellow Jackets shot a 643 to edge Mount St. Joseph and Manchester for the team championship.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Brian Jones turned in DC’s top score for the third time in as many events this fall, shooting an 80 to tie for ninth in the seven-team Defiance Fall Invitational on Sunday.

ANDERSON, Ind. – Defiance College continued its fall season over the weekend at the 13-team, Anderson Fall Invitational. The Jackets shot a 636 over the two-day event to end in a tie for eighth place in the team standings.

WAUSEON, Ohio – The Defiance College men’s golf team competed in its first event of the 2010-2011 season on Tuesday, as the Jackets took part in the 16-team Jon Spiess Memorial at Ironwood Golf Course in Wauseon, Ohio.
