DC Takes Eighth at Anderson Fall Invitational
ANDERSON, Ind. – Defiance College continued its fall season over the weekend at the 13-team, Anderson Fall Invitational. The Jackets shot a 636 over the two-day event to end in a tie for eighth place in the team standings.

Centre fired a 582 to edge Transylvania by six strokes for the team championship, while DePauw (609), Franklin (621) and Webster (622) rounded out the top five. Thomas More (625) and Mt. St. Joseph (628) were next, followed by DC and Hanover at 636 and Anderson at 637 to close out the top 10.
Centre and Transylvania also accounted for the top three individual finishes, with Centre's Chris Morris shooting a 142 for medalist honors and Lyndon Jones taking third with a 147. TU's Justin Tereshko fired a 145 to end in second.
Defiance was led by Brian Jones and Mike Ross, as they each shot a 159 to end in a tie for 41st. Jace Neal used a strong second round to score a 160, while Josh DeGroff also shot a 160 and Alex Goecke scored a 164.
The Jackets will play their home course on Sunday, September 26, when they host the DC Fall Invitational at Kettenring Country Club at 9:30 am.
