2012 at Defiance: Selected as a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Athlete to Watch for both indoor and outdoor track … Broke her own indoor and outdoor DC records in the pole vault with heights of 3.12 meters and 3.25 meters, respectively … Also ran in the 400 and 500-meter dashes during her indoor campaign and recorded top-six all-time marks in both … Named to the HCAC Academic Team and HCAC All-Sportsmanship team for indoor track … Finished fourth in the pole vault at the HCAC Championships.
2011 at Defiance: Established the then indoor and outdoor Defiance records in the pole vault with heights of 3.10 meters and 3.20 meters, respectively… Also ran on the indoor 4x400-meter relay team that posted a then DC best mark of 4:19.36 … Named Academic All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for both the indoor and outdoor seasons … Earned Outdoor All-Ohio Honors in the pole vault.
2010 at Defiance: Competed in the 200-meter run, pole vault and javelin for the Yellow Jackets.
High School: Lettered all four years at Memorial High under head coach Rob Cisco.
Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Kris Heitkamp … Majoring in sport management with a business administration minor … Also was a four-year varsity letterwinner for the DC women’s soccer team.
