Sophomore (2024-25)

• Competed in each of Defiance's 11 meets 
• Led the Yellow Jackets with five, top-3 finishes
• Also competed in field events for the first-collegeiate time: long jump, javelin throw and shotput
• Broke the 800-meter school record with a time of 2:21.28 and earned first place
• Set new PRs in field events, as well as the 60-, 200-, 300-, 400- and 800-meter dashes
• Part of the 4x400 relay that notched a season-high time of 4:12.00 at the WHAC Championship
• Ran in all six cross country events for the Yellow Jackets and was the top finisher for the team in 4 of 6 races

Prior to DC

• Played basketball at Bluffton University during her freshman year, appearing in 11 games for the Beavers

Personal

• Majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology
• Favorite teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Browns while favorite athletes include Luka Doncic and CJ Stroud
• Enjoys weight lifting, guitar, and worship music
• Daughter of Katrina and Jeffrey Horvath
• Has three siblings: Abby, Josh, and Will
• Graduated from Defiance High School in 2023
• Earned 11 total varsity letters for the Bulldogs with four in track and cross country in addition to three in basketball
• Won the WBL title in track in the 4x800 as a junior and went on to win districts in the event
• Also qualified for the state track meet in the 4x400 meter relay as a junior
• Won districts in the 400 meters during senior year
• Also a two-time All-WBL player in basketball
• Graduated with honors and was a member of National Honor Society
