Three student-athletes take part in NCAA Career in Sports Forum
DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College’s Erin Breece (Hamler, Ohio/Patrick Henry), Briawna Francis (Indianapolis, Ind./Avon) and Chelsey Strawser (Lewisburg, Ohio/Tri-County North) were three of more than 300 NCAA student-athletes from across the country who had the opportunity to get career guidance and network with athletics administrators and sports industry experts virtually from May 26-28 at the 2021 NCAA Career in Sports Forum.

Lowell earns All-HCAC Honorable Mention nod
Defiance College senior Rachel Lowell (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood) has been named All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention by the league’s coaches, as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning.

Honoring the women's soccer class of 2021
Today, Defiance College and the women’s soccer program would like to honor the team’s seniors who were unable to suit up this season and thank them for their contributions to the program and the College as a whole. The three seniors are Rachel Lowell (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood), Chelsey Strawser (Lewisburg, Ohio/Tri-County North), and Cassidy Weiss (Centerville, Ind./Centerville).

Women’s soccer team earns 2019-20 academic award from United Soccer Coaches
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches recently announced its Team Academic Award winners for 2019-20 with the Defiance College women’s soccer squad earning a spot on the list. Last year, Defiance posted an impressive 3.71 grade-point average, which is much higher than any other women’s or men’s soccer program in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
