Honoring the women's soccer class of 2021
Today, Defiance College and the women’s soccer program would like to honor the team’s seniors who were unable to suit up this season and thank them for their contributions to the program and the College as a whole. The three seniors are Rachel Lowell (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood), Chelsey Strawser (Lewisburg, Ohio/Tri-County North), and Cassidy Weiss (Centerville, Ind./Centerville).

Future Plans: "Going to Walsh University for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy"
Favorite DC Memory: "Staying at the Riverboat Inn with the team when we would travel to Hanover."
CHELSEY STRAWSER | Defender
Graduation Date: May 2021
Major: Exercise Science with a minor in Graphic Design
Future Plans: "I will be taking a gap year. While in my gap year I will be working, hoping to coach, and a part of the TCNYSA Board helping with the youth soccer administration back home."
Favorite DC Memory: "There are too many to count, but I will always love getting hype with my teammates in the locker room before every game."

Major: Exercise Science
Future Plans: "Going to Manchester University's Fort Wayne Campus where I will get my Masters in Athletic Training"
Favorite DC Memory: "While at DC, I have created many memories that will last forever. However, my favorite memory would have to be a tie between meeting my forever best friend throughout my college career and watching Coach Sky slip at practice."
