2009 at Defiance: The Jackets’ second pitcher in the rotation… Pitched over 118 innings in 26 appearances including 16 starts…Recorded a complete game in eight of her 16 starts and posted a 10-5 record…Finished with a 2.37 earned run average…Registered 59 strike outs and 18 walks while holding her opponents to a collective .274 batting average…Tied for first in the HCAC with three saves.

2008 at Defiance: Defiance’s number two pitcher appeared in 16 games for the Jackets, starting nine of those contests…Finished second on the team with two shutouts, after holding Franklin and Hanover scoreless…Went 5-6 on the year with a 3.02 ERA, tallying 24 strikeouts in 65 innings pitched…Earned a save in DC’s win over Hiram on March 29.

High School: A graduate of Kalida High School, Schnipke was a four-year letterwinner for coach Jeff Clement…She was a first-team all-conference selection in 2007, while also being named team MVP.
