Defiance Wraps Up the Season at the Regional Championships
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Defiance College’s men’s cross country team garnered 802 total points on their way to a 29th place finish in the NCAA Div. III Great Lakes Regional Championships on Saturday, November 14. The meet marks the final competition of the season for the 2009 men’s cross country team.

Freshman Hayden Krick led the way for the Yellow Jackets in his first collegiate regional meet, finishing the 8k course in 28:11. Justin Perkins was just two seconds behind, coming in at the 28:13 mark. Junior runner Seth Bidlack came in third for the Jackets, crossing the line in 29:03 in what was his strongest finish of the season. Logan Alvarez (29:13) and Aaron Fraley (30:18) rounded out the top five harriers for Defiance. The Yellow Jackets posted an average time of 29:00, which marks a 44 second improvement over last season's pace.
