DC Men Finish 15th at Friendship Invitational
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Defiance College men’s cross country team finished 15th at Cedarville University’s 18th annual Friendship Invitational on Saturday, September 20. The Jackets ended the meet with 441 points to edge out five other teams, including rival Bluffton University.

DC, who saw all of its runners improve on last week's marks, was once again led by freshman Justin Perkins. The Fairview High School product finished 41st, crossing the line in a career-best 28:15. Aaron Fraley (30:57) and Matt Rohlf (31:28) were the next to Jackets to complete the 8k course, finishing in 92nd and 97th respectively. Troy Secrest (32:30) and Ryan Nusbaum (32:56) rounded out the top five for Defiance, who had a season-best average finish of 31:13.
The Yellow Jackets have a week off before traveling to Adrian, Mich. on Friday, October 3 for the Adrian Invitational.
