Bio

Jake Arnold is in his first season as an assistant coach for the track and field programs at Defiance College and will work primarily with throwers. Arnold is a 2014 graduate of Defiance College from Slow, Ohio and competed as a thrower with the Yellow Jackets for four seasons. He competed in all four throwing events through the indoor and outdoor seasons (shot put, weight throw, hammer throw, and discuss) while specializing as a discuss and hammer/weight thrower for most of his college career. In 2012, Arnold was named to the HCAC Sportsmanship Team for the indoor season.

After Arnold earned his degree in business administration from DC, he obtained his Master's in business administration in 2016. He worked as a probation office with the state of Ohio and recently returned to DC to serve as the Director of Campus Safety.
