Bio

Will Garlock joined the Defiance College men's basketball program as a student assistant coach prior to the 2020-21 season and was tabbed an assistant coach after earning his bachelor's degree from DC in 2024.

Garlock transferred from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He is majoring in integrated social studies education. As a student at Defiance, he also assisted the football team, cross country, and played on the golf team for two seasons. He completed his college career with six academic all-conference awards and two sportsmanship team awards.

A 2019 graduate of Lima (Ohio) Central Catholic High School, Garlock played basketball, baseball and football for the Thunderbirds. Also a fine student, he was on the honor roll all four years.
