DEFiANCE, OHIO -- Defiance College senior men's basketball players Bernard Edwards (Detroit, Mich./Warren Cousino) and Travis Schomaeker (Ottawa/Ottawa-Glandorf) have been named D3hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region for their efforts this season. Edwards was tabbed a first-team pick and Shomaker was a second-team honoree.

DEFIANCE, OHIO -- Four players scored in double figures led by senior forward Bernard Edwards' (Detroit, Mich./Warren Cousino) 25 points as the Defiance College men's basketball team captured its third Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championship with a 78-55 win against Bluffton University at the Karl H. Weaner Center.
