The senior led DC to a pair of wins last week over Manchester and Franklin, both on the road. On Wednesday evening against Manchester, he scored 23 points while grabbing four boards, dishing out three assists and getting two steals. The Yellow Jackets took the victory 86-82. Schomaeker then dropped 17 points on Saturday against Franklin. He added eight helpers in that game to give him an average of 20 points and 5.5 assists on the week. He shot 57.1% (16-of-28) from the field including 8-of-14 from downtown.
Schomaeker and the rest of the Yellow Jackets will now look to next weekend as they host the HCAC Tournament. DC will play in the semifinals on Saturday night at 5 pm against the winner of the Hanover/Rose-Hulman game that takes place on Friday.
