Bio

Devin Bledsoe began his first season at Defiance College as the defensive line coach prior to the 2022 season.

His unit developed into one of the best in the conference and included two top performers in the conference earning All-Conference honors. Richard Pope went on to also lead the conference in TFLs and #2 in sacks with Rigo Villa also finishing in the top 10 in sacks and TFLs.

Before arriving at Defiance, Bledoe served as a defensive assistant for Mercer University and he assisted with linebackers and offensive scout teams. He also assisted with special teams scout teams.

Prior to his stint at Mercer, he spent four seasons at Morehead State University where he served as a defensive quality control coach, assisting with the defensive line. He was also a  special teams quality control coach. He assisted with weekly defensive and special teams game plans and helped breakdown opponent defensive and special teams film.

Before his time at Morehead State, he was the offensive quality control coach that assisted with quarterbacks and wide receivers at Furman University. 

Before Furman, he served as the special teams coordinator and wide receivers coach at Kentucky Christian University. He helped the wide receivers in a spread RPO offense, helped mentor two Academic All-Americans, one second team All-Conference wide receiver, and a second team All-Conference punter and kicker. He also served as the linebackers coach and assistant director of football operations in 2014 while at Kentucky Christian University.

As a player, Bledsoe was a defensive end at Joliet Junior College in Joliet, Illinois.

He has professional coaching experience at the NCAA Division I/III and NAIA levels.
