Freshman (2029-20): Played in all 10 games... Made seven starts at first base... Batted .278 with a .409 on-base percentage... Drew four walks and scored four runs... Scored twice, including the game-winning runs in both the 3-2 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran and 6-5 triumph versus Haverford... Got one starting assignment on the mound... Allowed just four hits over six innings in picking up the win when DC shut out SUNY Canton, 6-0.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – After playing at home on Saturday, the Defiance College baseball team traveled on Sunday to face the Transylvania University Pioneers in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, home of the Lexington Legends. Transylvania came from behind to win the opener, 7-5, before also claiming the second game, 14-2.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader between the Defiance College baseball team and Hanover College Panthers got started in the morning hours and ended early on Saturday with the two squads splitting a couple of one-run games. Hanover came back for a 7-6 win in the opener before Defiance pulled out a 5-4 victory in the second contest that was ended after five innings because of rain and a wet field.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Coming off solid seasons the last two years under 14th-year head coach Derek Woodley, the Defiance College baseball team hopes to continue its winning ways when opening the 2021 season with four Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference road games in Indiana this weekend. Defiance is scheduled to face Hanover College in a doubleheader on Saturday at noon before playing two games with Franklin College on Sunday at the same time.
