Baseball to start 2020 season on road next Tuesday

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College baseball team’s opening games of the 2020 season, a doubleheader with the Taylor University Trojans first set for this past Tuesday, Feb. 25, have been rescheduled for next Tuesday, March 3 at 2 p.m. in Upland, Indiana. The original twinbill was postponed due to rainy weather.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College baseball team's opening games of the 2020 season, a doubleheader with the Taylor University Trojans first set for this past Tuesday, Feb. 25, have been rescheduled for next Tuesday, March 3 at 2 p.m. in Upland, Indiana. The original twinbill was postponed due to rainy weather.

Taylor, an NAIA member, is currently 10-2 overall this season. Last year, the Trojans finished with a 38-18 overall record.

In 2019, Defiance went 23-16-1 overall and tied for third place in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference at 10-8. The Yellow Jackets have 18 players back from a season ago.
