
20 DC Fall athletes named 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the fall sports season with 20 Defiance College student-athletes represented. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the fall sports who have excelled academically while competing in football, cross country, soccer and volleyball.
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended the institution for one full year.
Defiance had four sports make the grades led by the men's soccer team 10 award winners followed by volleyball (5), women's soccer (3) and football (2). The full list of Defiance College Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the Fall 2024 are listed below.
