CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Defiance College women’s golfer Dana Peterson (Grass Lake, Mich./Grass Lake) recently was named to the 2020-21 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team. The scholars were announced by the WGCA on Tuesday afternoon.

Women’s golf finishes spring season at HCAC Championship
HARRISON, Ohio – While playing in the final round of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday, the Defiance College women’s golf team finished its 2021 spring season. Mount St. Joseph University served as host of the three-day, 54-hole tournament at the 5,905-yard Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course, which played to a par of 73.

Clingaman’s 71 highlights golf teams’ play on Saturday in Michigan
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – At the LTU Battle at Bedford Valley on Saturday, the Defiance College men’s and women’s golf teams both showed improvement during the final round. The 36-hole, two-day event was hosted by Lawrence Technological University at the par-72 Bedford Valley Golf Course, which was laid out at 6,898 yards for the men and 5,987 for the women.

Golf teams finish opening 18 holes at Bedford Valley

Lawrence Technological University is hosting the two-day, 36-hole tournament at Bedford Valley Golf Course, which plays to a par of 72 and measures 6,898 yards for the men and 5,987 for the ladies.

Women’s golf improves by 11 strokes on day two of Quaker Invitational
RICHMOND, Ind. – At the Quaker Invitational on Saturday, the Defiance College women’s golf team improved by 11 strokes from Friday during the final 18 holes of the tournament. Earlham College hosted the 36-hole, two-day event at the par-72, 5,862-yard Elks Country Club.

Women’s golf picked to finish ninth in Spring 2021 HCAC preseason poll
CARMEL, Ind. – Heading into its upcoming spring season, the Defiance College women’s golf team is picked to finish ninth among the 10 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference squads, according to the Spring 2021 HCAC Women’s Golf Preseason Poll. The poll was comprised in a vote of the conference’s head coaches and released by the HCAC office on Tuesday.
