Defiance continued to struggle early in set two as the Panthers rattled off nine straight points before a Hanover miscue put DC on the board. The Panthers went on to win the set 25-8.
In set three, Defiance used a three point surge led by back-to-back kills from sophomore Emma Seitz (Toledo/Central Catholic) and Porter to cut the lead 13-7. However, the Panthers continued to be to much for the Yellow Jackets scoring four straight points to capture the win.
