Volleyball Drops HCAC Match Against Hanover

HANOVER, Ind. – The Defiance College volleyball team fell against Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Hanover College, 3-0 (19-25, 22-25, 13-25) on Friday.

HANOVER, Ind. – The Defiance College volleyball team fell against Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Hanover College, 3-0 (19-25, 22-25, 13-25) on Friday. The loss drops the Jackets to 12-11 overall and 3-2 in the conference.

Sophomore Chelsea Ludeman led the attack with nine kills, while freshman Alicia Kalik provided 22 assists for the Jackets.

Defensively, Defiance was paced by freshman Stephanie Wilson's nine digs. Ludeman and senior Marlea Rolander each had two blocks in the match.

DC will return to actions on Saturday, October 15 at Transylvania. The Yellow Jackets will take on Transylvania in HCAC play at 12:00 pm and Kentucky Christian following the first match.
