
Coward and O'Shea named All-Conference Honorable Mention
The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the Women's Soccer All-Conference awards. The votes were made by the HCAC coaches.
Sophomore midfielder Lexi Coward (Findlay, Ohio) and junior goalkeeper/midfielder Sarah O'Shea (Cincinnati, Ohio) were named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Coward played in all 17 games and made 16 starts. She attempted 12 total shots, five of which were on goal, giving her a shot on goal percentage of .417. She also tallied one assist during the season.
O'Shea spent time at both goalkeeper and the field, made 11 starts and played in 16 of the 17 games. Sarah played 652 minutes in goal, allowed 30 goals, and collected 103 saves. She compiled a 1-5-1 record at net and did not record any shutouts. In the field, she scored a team high six goals which included one game winner. Eleven of her 18 shot attempts were on goal, which gave her a shot on goal percentage of .611. She tallied 12 points during the season.
