- Junior Lexie Sparks led Defiance with 10 points off the bench.
- Sophomore Kylie Brinkman added nine points and grabbed five rebounds.
- Senior Nysha Speed scored seven points and grabbed six rebounds, tying fellow senior Taylor Day and sophomore Cait Good for the team lead.
- As a team, Defiance went 13-of-49 (.265) from the floor and shot 7-of-27 (.259) on three-pointers.

The Difference
- After leading 13-10 following the first quarter Rose-Hulman outscored Defiance 17-2 in the second quarter.
- Defiance rallied in the third and used a 12-0 run to cut the deficit to 42-30 heading into the final frame.
- The Fightin' Engineers held out despite being outscored by Defiance 12-9 in the fourth to eliminate the Yellow Jackets and advance to the semifinals.
- Rose-Hulman outrebounded Defiance 37-34 and outscored them in the 18-10.
