- Junior Taylor Steinbrunner led the Yellow Jackets with 18 points and grabbed six rebounds
- Senior Nysha Speed scored 14 points and snatched 12 rebounds notching another double-double on the season.
- Junior Lauren Criblez added ten points for Defiance.
- Sophomore Kylie Brinkman chipped in nine points.
- As a team, the Yellow Jackets went 24-of-55 (.436) from the field and shot 9-of-26 (.346) from behind the arc.

- Both teams battled one another in the first quarter and saw the Lions take a small 13-12 lead in the second quarter.
- The Yellow Jackets grabbed their first lead of the game, 18-16, with a Steinbrunner three-pointer at eight minute mark.
- Defiance held onto their slim lead the rest of the quarter and took a 30-27 advantage into halftime.
- The Yellow Jackets started the third quarter with a fast 11-0 start included three straight three-point baskets by Brinkman to make it 41-27.
- Defiance continued their quick start throughout the rest of the game and didn't look back, claiming the victory 70-59.
- The Yellow Jackets dominated the free throw line going 13-17 (.765).
- Defiance gained a large advantage in rebounds, 44-25.
