- Senior Nysha Speed led the Yellow Jackets in scoring with 13 points and tied junior Lauren Criblez for the team lead in rebounds with nine.
- Junior Taylor Steinbrunner added 11 points while Nicole Sims recorded six points, six rebounds, and six assists.
- The Defiance bench was led by sophomore Cait Good who scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds and junior Lexie Sparks who scored seven and added six rebounds.
- The Yellow Jackets went 27-of-83 (.325) from the floor and 6-of-22 (.273) from the three-point line.

- The Yellow Jackets took a 34-31 lead at the half thanks to nine combined points from Speed and sophomore McKenzie Cooper.
- Late in the fourth quarter Defiance battled back from a five-point deficit with a 7-0 run before the Panthers forced overtime with a late basket.
- Defiance opened overtime on an 8-2 run and was used the moment to close out the game for a 71-67 win.
