Bio
Laney Grimwood is in her first season as an assistant for the DC softball team. A native of Ontario, Ohio, Grimwood was a four-year player of the Yellow Jackets from 2021-24 and graduated with a degree in Middle Childhood Education in 2024.
Grimwood was a three-time Academic All-HCAC performer in the classroom and was a team leader on the field at second base. Grimwood played in 147 games in four seasons and carried a .246 career average, including a .313 batting average as a senior.
