
Defiance Finishes Eighth at Franklin (Ind.)
FRANKLIN, IND. – The Defiance College men’s cross country team traveled to Franklin, Ind. to compete in the Sodexo Grizzly Invite and finished eighth with a team score of 195.

The Yellow Jackets were led by junior Clayton Bruggeman (St. Henry) who finished 13th with a time of 28:39.58. Junior Colin Krick (Hicksville/Antwerp Local) had the second fastest time for the team of 29:11.69, crossing the line 21st. Juniors Jacob Rindler (St. Henry) and Zach Roush (Nashville, Ind. /Brown County) finished in 30:16.40 and 31:38.78, respectively. Rounding out the scoring times for Defiance was junior John Seeley (Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. /Sault Area) who crossed the line in 32:06.64.
The Purple and Gold will compete next on Saturday, Sept. 19 when they travel to Westerville, Ohio to compete in the Otterbein University Invitational. The meet is set to begin at 11 a.m.
