Defiance Competes At Otterbein
WESTERVILLE, OHIO – The Defiance College men’s cross country team traveled to Westerville, Ohio to compete in the Otterbein Invitational and finished 16th with a team score of 483.
WESTERVILLE, OHIO – The Defiance College men's cross country team traveled to Westerville, Ohio to compete in the Otterbein Invitational and finished 16th with a team score of 483.
Defiance was led by junior Clayton Bruggeman (St. Henry) who finished 89th with a time of 28:27.2. Junior Jacob Rindler (St. Henry) had the second fastest time for the team of 29:16.1, crossing the line 115th. Junior Zach Roush (Nashville, Ind. /Brown County) and freshman Stephan Beasley (Westerville/Oakstone Academy) finished in 30:03.5 and 32:31.2, respectively. Rounding out the scoring times for Defiance was freshman Daren Gies (Plymouth) who crossed the line in 33:14.6.
The Purple and Gold will compete next on Thursday, Oct. 1 when they travel to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Championships. The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m.
