
Yellow Jackets End Season at NCAA Regionals
TERRE HAUTE, IND. – The Defiance College men’s cross country team traveled to Terre Haute, Ind. to compete in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Cross Country meet hosted by Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology and finished 32nd with a team score of 1,024 points.
TERRE HAUTE, IND. – The Defiance College men's cross country team traveled to Terre Haute, Ind. to compete in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Cross Country meet hosted by Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Institute of Technology and finished 32nd with a team score of 1,024 points.
Defiance was led by junior Clayton Bruggeman (St. Henry) who finished 169th with a time of 28:24.4. Junior Zach Roush (Nashville, Ind. /Brown County) had the second fastest time for the team of 28:57.0, crossing the line 192nd. Junior Colin Krick (Hicksville) and freshman Stephan Beasley (Westerville/Oakstone Academy) finished in 29:50.3 and 31:00.1, respectively. Rounding out the scoring times for Defiance was freshman Daren Gies (Plymouth) who crossed the line in 33:49.4. Junior John Seeley (Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. /Sault Area) also competed for Defiance and finished with a time of 35:03.3.
