Last season, the Yellow Jackets placed fifth at the HCAC Championships. The team was honored with one All-HAC runner, one Academic All-HCAC and one All-HCAC Sportsmanship selection.
Named to the HCAC Watch List were seniors Justin Pekins and Aaron Fraley, along with junior Hayden Krick. Perkins was named All-HCAC a season ago and Krick collected an HCAC Runner-of-the-Week award.
Manchester was picked first with 97 points and eight first place votes after winning the conference title in 2010. Anderson (85), Franklin (82), Rose-Hulman (76) and Defiance (57) rounded out the top five.
Defiance begins its season on September 1, when it travels to Manchester College to take part in the Manchester Hokum Karem.
