Davis, Murphy pace Yellow Jackets at Hokem Karem

N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Defiance College men's cross country team began the year at the Manchester College Hokem Karem. Leading the way for DC was the two-man team of sophomore Joe Davis and sophomore Madison Murphy, who posted a time of 42:56.00 to finish fourth.

Junior Hayden Krick and senior Aaron Fraley finished right behind Davis and Murphy with a fifth- place time of 43:33.00.

Manchester College won the event with a total time of 2:06:51.00 and six points. Defiance posted a total of 2:12:58.00 and 15 points.

Defiance returns to action on Saturday, September 10 when it hosts the Defiance Duals.
