
Perkins, Davis Pace DC Men at All-Ohio Championships
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Paced by the efforts of Justin Perkins and Joe Davis, the Defiance College men’s cross country team finished 28th at the All-Ohio Championships, an event that features teams across all NCAA divisions.
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Paced by the efforts of Justin Perkins and Joe Davis, the Defiance College men's cross country team finished 28th at the All-Ohio Championships, an event that features teams across all NCAA divisions.
Perkins led the Yellow Jackets with a time of 27:01.11, while Davis was close behind with a final time of 27:09.21. Hayden Krick finished the race with a time of 27:56.86, and Madison Murphy posted a final mark of 28.03:33. Rounding out the top five racers for Defiance was Josh Hilton, who finished the event in 28:07.85.
The Jackets placed 28th out of the 45 teams at the event, and finished 10th of 22 NCAA Division III teams.
The next race for the DC harriers is on Friday, October 14th at the Wilmington College Invitational in Wilmington, Ohio. Start time is scheduled for 11:00 am.
