DC Men Dominate at the Bluffton Invitational
BLUFFTON, Ohio – The men’s cross country team won the Bluffton Invitational decisively on Friday, placing seven runners in the top eight, and 11 in the top 15. DC recorded 18 points in the meet, edging out conference foe Bluffton University who finished in second place with 49 points. Owens Community College placed third with 71 points.

Sophomore Justin Perkins led the way for the Yellow Jackets, placing first overall as he finished the 5k in 16:37. Hayden Krick finished in 16:45 to claim the second place spot for DC. Tyler Reese, Logan Alvarez and Ryan Green rounded out the scoring for the jackets as they finished 4th, 5th and 6th overall respectively.
The Yellow Jackets return to action on Friday, October 2, when they travel to Delaware, Ohio, to compete in the All-Ohio Championship.
