Bio

Reggie Gallant joined the Defiance staff as an assistant men's basketball coach in August of 2021. 

Gallant came to Defiance after spending 2018-21 as the Postgrad Academy Head Coach with Impact Basketball out of Las Vegas, Nev. In this role, he coached the postgraduate team while also serving as player development coach for their other programs. He also oversaw the production of marketing materials, managed the company's YouTube channel, and oversaw video editing and management.

Prior to his time at Impact, Gallant worked with the men's basketball team at Division I Houston Baptist University. During his tenure with the Huskies, Gallant held many titles including Video Coordinator, Graduate Assistant, and Co-Director of Operations. WHile at HBU Gallant earned his master's in intetnation business from HBU's Archie W. Dunam School of Business.

Gallant graduated from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina where he studied economics, business management, and marketing. While at South Carolina Gallant worked as a student manager for the Gamecocks men's basketball team and rose to the rank of Head Student Manager prior to this senior year.
