
Men's Basketball falls at Earlham
Earlham never relinguished their halftime lead and defeated the Yellow Jackets Wednesday night, 74-66.

Te Jones got the scoring started with a jump shot as the Yellow Jackets struck first.

A three from Landen Swanner tied the game at 12 with 12:48 remaining in the half.

Two free throws from Cam Martin gave Defiance a 21-18 lead with 10:21 left.

Earlham answered with an 11-2 run sparked by Jaden Terry and Casey Keesee.

The Quakers would lead by as many as 10 and led 40-35 at halftime.
Second Half:

The Quakers stormed out of halftime with a 12-0 run and led by 17 at 52-35 with 15:16 remaining.

Defiance responded with a 12-0 run of their own to cut the lead down to five. The run was sparked by Ried Jury, Marell Jordan, and Jerome Johnson.

Kiewaun Graham knocked down two free throws to cut the deficit to four with 9:02 left in the game but Earlham's Joffrey Nunnally answered with a three to extend the lead back to seven.

Two free throws from Marell Jordan brought the Yellow Jackets within three with 6:42 left but the Quakers responded again. A layup from Zachariah Andre gave Earlham a five-point lead.

The Yellow Jackets would not get any closer and would not lead in the second half as Earlham was victorious.
