
Defiance Places Four on HCAC All-Sportsmanship Team

Members of the HCAC All-Sportsmanship Team were selected by head coaches and their teammates as individuals who demonstrate the ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field or court of competition.
Nominees must be a member of an intercollegiate athletics team during the 2010-2011 academic year and must have demonstrated the values of respect and integrity in their daily participation of intercollegiate athletics.
Defiance College placed Kevin Tietje (men's basketball), Molly Bateman (women's basketball), Austin Trivett (men's indoor track and field) and Ellen Stryffeler (women's indoor track and field) on the HCAC All-Sportsmanship team for the winter season. The group joins Kelsey Ferguson (volleyball), Kyle Longsdorf (football), Seth Bidlack (men's cross country), Kaitlin Switzer (women's cross country), Nicole Lovins (women's tennis), Jordanne Buehrer (women's soccer), Sean Roberts (men's soccer) and Sarah Westfall (women's tennis) on the list of DC student-athletes to be honored with this award during the 2010-2011 academic year.
