Amber Stelzner joined the Defiance College athletic training staff in August 2025, adding another dynamic, experienced and fully-licensed member to this vital unit of the athletic department.

She has worked with local high schools offering PT and sports medicine services to Leipsic, Continental and Miller City. With over 15 years of professional athletic training experience, she gained valuable experience with the BGSU hockey, basketball, soccer, gymnastics, softball, volleyball and football programs.

Stelzner completed her bachelor's in athletic training clinic management at Bowling Green State University in 2010.
