2009 at Defiance: Only member of team to play in all 118 sets … Ranked second on DC with 79 blocks and fourth with 25 service aces … Evolved into a steady offensive weapon as the season progressed … Nailed 23 aces over final 15 matches … Averaged 1.2 kills per set during that span … Continued presence at the net resulted in two-or-more blocks in 17 matches … Ranked sixth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference with 0.39 aces per set in eight conference contests … Saw numbers increase dramatically in front of the home crowd with a .247 attack percentage, 0.84 blocks and 0.38 aces per set inside the Karl H. Weaner Community Center … Named to the HCAC All-Academic Team.
