DC cross country teams set 2024 schedule
DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College cross country teams announced a six-race fall schedule for the upcoming 2024 season, the DC Athletic Department announced on Thursday.
The first year returning to the NAIA spreads the Yellow Jacket runners across the tri-state area on Friday afternoons during the campaign. It all begins with the men's and women's teams running at Purdue Fort Wayne in the Mastodon Alumni Open at the end of August. Tiffin and Heidelberg's annual Tiffelberg Invite will host the Jackets to open September followed by a trip to Michigan at Concordia on September 13. Defiance will have a week off between each of their last two regular-season meets to Ohio Wesleyan and Wilmington before heading to Aquinas on November 1 for the team's first WHAC Championship race.
The Yellow Jackets are slated to compete on Friday afternoons this fall after being limited to two meets for the men and women last season. Dates and times for the upcoming season are subject to change.
