Yellow Jackets Run In Otterbein Invitational
WESTERVILLE, OHIO – The Defiance College women’s cross country team took four individuals to Westerville, Ohio to compete in the Otterbein Invitational.
WESTERVILLE, OHIO – The Defiance College women's cross country team took four individuals to Westerville, Ohio to compete in the Otterbein Invitational.
Defiance was led by junior Eme Miller (Portland, Ind. /Jay County) who ran a time of 22:23.9 and placed third overall. Sophomore Aaron Textor (Swanton) had the second quickest time for the Yellow Jackets with 26:54.5 and was followed by senior Waverly Weaks (Liberty Center) who crossed the finish line with a mark of 32:14.0. Junior Kayla Miller (Wadsworth) rounded out the competitors after crossing the finish at the 34:46.1 mark.
The Yellow Jackets will compete next on Thursday, Oct. 1 when they travel to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Championships. The meet is set to begin at 2 p.m.
