DC Women’s Harriers Named USTFCCCA All-Academic
NEW ORLEANS – For the fifth time in six seasons, the Yellow Jacket women’s cross country team has recorded a cumulative GPA above a 3.10 and been named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic List.

The Purple and Gold amassed a grade point average of 3.17 for the 2012 fall semester. In total, there were 197 teams in National Collegiate Athletic Association Div. III that qualified for the honor.
Johns Hopkins University won the Cross Country Women's Scholar Team of the Year Award, which is selected by performance in the classroom and in the field. The Blue Jays recorded a 3.32 GPA and notched their first NCAA Championship in school history, defeating second place Wartburg by 63 points.
