CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Defiance College women’s cross country finished 14th at Cedarville University's Friendship Invitational on Saturday, September 20, accumulating 345 points as a team.
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Defiance College women's cross country finished 14th at Cedarville University's Friendship Invitational on Saturday, September 20, accumulating 345 points as a team.
Sophomore Kaitlin Switzer (21:12) led the Jackets with a 35th place finish, as the Defiance, Ohio native was one of five Lady Jackets to improve on last week's times. Kelly Neff (21:47) was the next DC harrier to cross the line, cutting nearly two minutes off her time from a week ago to finish 47th. Amanda Zimmerman completed the 5k course in 22:55 to finish third for Defiance, while Courtney Swabb (24:32) and Aubrie Ridinger (25:41) rounded out the top five for the Jackets.
The Yellow Jackets have a week off before traveling to Adrian, Mich. on Friday, October 3 for the Adrian Invitational.
