Kain named Defensive Player of the Week for 2nd straight week
GREENWOOD, Ind. – For her efforts in helping lead DC to a 2-3 week, Rebecca Kain has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Defender of the Week.
GREENWOOD, Ind. – For her efforts in helping lead DC to a 2-3 week, Rebecca Kain has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Defender of the Week.
This is the second straight week in which Kain (Orland, Ind. / Prairie Heights) has been named the HCAC Defender of the Week.
Kain dug up 102 balls over the five matches this past week. She averaged six digs per set over the 17 sets played in the week.
Her best performance came against DePauw University. In just three sets, Kain posted 33 digs which set her new career high.
She will be back in action with the rest of the Yellow Jackets in a tri-match vs Alma and host Trine. First match is set to begin at 3 pm against Alma.
