The junior outside hitter then collected her 11th double-double and filled the stat sheet with 15 kills, 13 digs, six blocks and one ace in DC's win over Rose-Hulman on Sunday.
The HCAC honor is the first for Lipps in her three-year career at Defiance and is the third time this season that a Yellow Jacket has garnered the award.
Lipps and the Jackets will play their final home match of the 2008 regular season when they host Manchester on Tuesday night at 7:30 pm. Defiance will take the court looking to keep its hopes alive in the race for the 2008 HCAC Championship.
