Howell, who has seemingly improved with every meet during the indoor season, jumped a personal-best and school-record 10.65 meters, to crush the previous school record for the triple jump by nearly ten inches. Howell also competed in the 400 meter dash, setting another personal record with a time of 63.87 seconds.
The team continued its excellence this season in pole vaulting with a combined five top-four finishes between the men's and women's teams. Austin Trivett led the way, clearing 4.52 meters to take first place at the meet, followed by teammates Tyler Anderson and Dan Hardin-Wallace who came in at third and fourth place respectively. Kaitlin Sandercock and Emily Cole tied for third at the meet in women's pole vaulting with a clearance of 2.72 meters.
