Marquez and Tank Earn HCAC Postseason Honors
GREENWOOD, IND. – Defiance College women’s tennis players Savannah Marquez and Nicole Tank were recognized by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for their performance on the court in the 2015 season.

Savannah Marquez (Porterville, Calif. /Porterville) was named to the honorable mention All-HCAC team for 2015. This is the second year in a row that Marquez was given this accolade. She finished the season with an overall singles record of 2-14 and a doubles record of 5-12.
Nicole Tank (Lincoln Park, Mich. /Roosevelt) was also recognized by the HCAC and was named to the All-Sportsmanship team. Tank wrapped up the 2015 season with an overall singles record of 4-11 and a doubles record of 1-12.
Franklin (Ind.) College's Melissa Sanders and Karen Dringenburg were named HCAC Most Valuable Player and Freshman of the Year, respectively. Hanover (Ind.) College's Ryan Miller was named HCAC Coach of the Year.
