FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Lady Yellow Jackets' tennis team fell to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Franklin College on Saturday morning by a score of 9-0. The loss marks the seventh in a row for DC and drops its overall record to 1-8.
The Jackets fought in hard in the match but were not able to get any results to go in their favor in singles or doubles. The loss drops Defiance's HCAC record to 1-4 on the season.
Up next for the Yellow Jackets is a match on the road at Goshen College on Monday, September 26. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
