Women’s Tennis Suffers Loss to Hanover
DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College women’s tennis team lost to the HCAC’s top team, Hanover College, on Sunday, September 28. The Jackets fall to 0-10 overall with the loss, while dropping to 0-6 in HCAC action.

Amanda Auzins led DC on the day, winning a total of five games in No. 1 singles action before falling 6-3, 6-2. She also teamed with partner Mandi Losby in No. 1 doubles, dropping a competitive match to Katie Fleschner and Ali Gantz, 8-4. Cindy Toth fell 6-0, 6-1 in No. 3 singles, while Chelsea French lost in No. 4 singles, 6-2, 6-0.
The Jackets will be back in action tomorrow, September 29, when they travel to Grace for a non-conference match at 4:00 p.m.
