Beltran Earns NWCA Division III Academic Award

MANHEIM, PA. - Freshman Rosendo Beltran (Toledo/Central Catholic) was named a member of the 2018-19 National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III All-Academic Team announced Thursday afternoon.

Over 200 student-athletes received the honor with 83 institutions being represented.

Beltran finished the season taking home eighth place at the NCAA Division III Regional going 2-3 overall. The 125-pound wrestler posted a season best 16-6 overall record, earning four victories by way of fall. 

The Yellow Jackets concluded the year with a 2-5 overall dual record with wins over PSU Behrend and KSU Tuscarawas.
