Doidge named Director of Golf
The Defiance College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Brad Doidge as Director of Golf. In this role, Doidge will oversee both the Defiance men's and women's teams.
DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Brad Doidge as Director of Golf. In this role, Doidge will oversee both the Defiance men's and women's teams. Doidge spent this past fall coaching the women's team following the departure of former head coach Allen Curtis for another role.
Doidge will be assisted by Brent Beck and Ron Coles, both of whom helped coach the Defiance golf team's this fall. Beck will assist with the women's team while Coles will help coach the men.
Under the director of Doidge and Beck, the Yellow Jackets placed eighth at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship. Coles helped guide the men's team to a seventh-place finish at HCAC Fall Preview.
Both teams are set to return to action this spring.
